Since 2018 exists a socalled 'Private Data Protection Regulation' (GDPR) within the 'European Union' (EU) for private persons, some brief comments about our 'Contact'-page:

we do not own / run the 'technical' part for our website here - hardware (digital server), software, 'cloud' etc. - we are renting such service through the company 'Simplesite'. We do not count visitor numbers on our website, this is ‘Simplesite's issue, however everybody can see this figure here on our Website. We do not collect any user's data in clicking / visiting our website. We do not use 'cookies' and / or other 'tracing' digital tools. We do not use any 'Social media' such as 'Facebook', 'Twitter' etc.

However, we as Belser Wissenschaftlicher Dienst Ltd. may store and process personal data such as name, email-address, messages from visitors / users here on our Website, who sent us their message through the ‘Contact’-page here on this Website (top right). On behalf and direction of Belser Wissenschaftlicher Dienst Ltd., such visitors's / user's-data are processed through 'SimpleSite', ’SimpleSite’ may collect, store and process non-personal and personal data of Belser Wissenschaftlicher Dienst Ltd.'s digital visitors / users. In this technical process ‘SimpleSite’ serves and shall be considered as the "Data Processor" of Belser Wissenschaftlicher Dienst Ltd.'s Website and not as the "Controller" of www. belserwissensdienst.com, both terms are defined in "GDPR". Subsequently, Belser Wissenschaftlicher Dienst Ltd. will use these personal data through a message and therefore shall be considered as "Controller" of visitor's message-data and not as its "Data Processor", and shall be considered as responsible for complying in laws and regulations which may apply, received in messages coming though the contact-page here.

Our 'Contact'-page is straightforward in sending us a 'message', i.e. inquiries about content - quantities and / or content-qualities of our works / collections, and / or names of titles, writers, genres, sections, sets, bibliographic records etc., and purchase prices. Such 'inquiries' data will be stored and managed at Belser Wissenschaftlicher Dienst Ltd's facilities, otherwise it would be difficult to respond to the sender's original 'message'.
